Channel Strip

Get the renowned channel strip of the System 5 - one of the most sought-after consoles used to create some of the greatest music mixes and film/TV soundtracks ever produced”without the expense. Avid Channel Strip is a high-quality, high-performance, easy-to-use AAX plugin that enables you to use the same EQ, Dynamics, Filter, and Gain effects algorithms found in the console, in your Pro Tools Artist mixes.

Dynamics III

Designed for both Pro Tools and Avid editing systems, Dynamics III is a professional plugin suite that includes a Compressor/Limiter, Expander/Gate, and De-Esser, each in an easy-to-use interface. Dynamics III offers simple ways to apply dynamics processing in mono, stereo, or in a full range of surround formats*. It also integrates easily with control surfaces and consoles - including VENUE live sound systems - giving you direct, hands-on control of functions.

Focusrite d2/d3

Modeled after their Red Range hardware counterparts, the Focusrite d2 and d3 plugins deliver high-quality equalization and professional dynamic control. d2 is designed for the audio professional who requires the highest levels of performance and maximum versatility in a software-based equalizer, providing multiple modular configurations. d3 provides flexibility and versatility through separate insert configurations in addition to its highly impressive sonic characteristics.

Both the d2 and d3 interfaces closely emulate their respective sibling Red Range hardware units, with their red brushed-aluminum panel graphics, illuminated push buttons and rotary control knobs.

Impact

Go from subtle dynamics smoothing to extreme compression squashing. Impact features a clean and well-organized user interface that emulates the look of a console mix bus compressor. With support for multichannel tracks up to 7.1 and sampling rates up to 192 kHz, Impact is ideal for professional music and post environments where critical control of dynamic program material is essential.

Impact includes four selectable compression ratios and variable controls for Attack, Release, Threshold, and Make-up Gain. The interface features a Gain Reduction meter that replicates an analog meter with an animated bouncing needle, displaying authentic ballistics as it meters gain reduction. Impact also includes a side-chain input, enabling you to use any Pro Tools audio track as an external key.

Maxim

If you want your Pro Tools tracks to have that professionally mastered sheen, add Maxim to your list of "must have" plugins. More than just a world-class peak limiter, Maxim optimizes the overall level of the audio input while preserving the integrity of the original sound. Although Maxim is ideally suited to the stereo master of a mix, it's flexible enough to be used as a dynamics processor on any channel. Maxim also offers built-in dithering, on-line help, and a full-color Histogram, making it ideal for mixing and mastering in any Pro Tools environment.

Pro Tools Artist also includes Celemony Melodyne 5 essential!
Even if you wish to do nothing more than make minor corrections to your vocals from time to time, there's no need to dispense with Melodyne. Because Melodyne essential – besides being extremely easy to use offers the same Grammy Award-winning sound quality as the larger editions.

In addition to the features listed above, Melodyne essential offers:

  • All the algorithms except DNA: This means you can edit monophonic vocal and instrumental tracks, as well as drums, and even entire mixes (by time-stretching or transposing them, for instance). All that's missing is the ability to edit individual notes played by polyphonic instruments such as the piano or guitar.
  • Melodyne's Main Tool: With the Main Tool, you can edit each note's pitch, timing and duration as well as note separations. This - combined with the macros for pitch, timing and dynamics allows you to make simple improvements fast, without having to deal with the more advanced functions.
  • In a nutshell: Melodyne essential is the easy-access point of entry to Melodyne's unique editing environment - with the option of upgrading to a larger edition at any time, for only the difference in the price of the two editions.
