MUSIC INDUSTRY CERTIFICATION FOR STUDENTS

The Avid Learning Academy (ALA) program is focused on preparing students for a successful career in media. Available to high schools looking to add a new media arts program or enhance an existing one, the ALA program offers a CTE-compliant audio and music production curriculum and video editing curriculum that cover the Avid “First” family of creative tools.

Enroll your school to become an Avid Learning Academy and get everything you need to empower students with the foundational skills they need to succeed in their creative endeavors, whether they want to advance their Avid education and certification or enter the job market immediately after graduation. The Avid Learning Academy program offers high schools a complete curriculum to teach music and media production skills, aligned to the U.S National Core Arts Standards and common CTE pathways in Arts, Media and Entertainment (AME). Students enrolled in these programs can get a head start on college or their career by learning on the music, TV and film industries’ most popular creative tools and earning pathway certifications with Avid’s industry-recognized professional credentials.

Enrolled students in the ALA program receive free licenses of the Pro Tools Artist audio creation software and Media Composer | Artist.
